Our heated lake pool

Soothing warmth
Since 15.09.09 our lake pool is back in operation and heats the water temperature up to 28° C.
On 13 October 2008 the lake pool was set adrift from the Seefels marina moorings and towed by two motorboats to the dry dock at Bad Saag. There a local company, Lendorfer Schmiede, completely renovated the pool. On 26 November 2008, after five weeks' work, an 80 ton crane lifted the totally rehabilitated swimming pool weighing 23 tons back into Lake Wörth. Following further minor adaptations, the pool was towed by Seefels motorboat back to its original location, docked and reconnected. Since 5 December 2008 the lake pool is back in operation – with the result that the water temperature has now gone up to a blissful 28 degrees and the energy consumption has gone down at the same time, thereby justifying the investment.
The new lighting creates a fantastic atmosphere for swimming in the evening. It gets truly romantic when snow falls and your chilled champagne is served by the steaming lake pool. Why not find out for yourself? |
